The
first mention of Horsham was in King Eadreds land charter of AD 947
. The town had connections to the sale of horses and the name is
believed to be derived from "Horse Ham", a settlement where
horses were kept.
The
population of the area is approximately 126,000 with 46,000 in the
town itself. 15 miles from Gatwick Airport,  access
to the motorway network via M23 and a regular train service to
London make Horsham an ideal place to make your base.

are a range of shopping including the Carfax, West Street, Piries
Place and the indoor shopping centre, Swan
Walk. Local attractions include the
Causeway and the museum while the Pavilions
in the Park and The
